This is a scholarly site that has an encyclopedia of definitions of diseases and disorders. For concussions, it has a definition which I used in my research along with a lot of other information including symptoms, causes, risks, and more.

This recaps all the major events in the last two decades concerning the concussion crisis in the NFL. This is the main source for the timeline.

This article was published back in 2013 when the NFL finally agreed to pay this settlement. It reviews the events of the past years unbiasedly, although it was posted on NFL.com. It also discussed some of what the money would be going towards. This was a good source for my research, and gave a bit of the NFL's perspective.

This article gave me more information on the that events occurred after 2013 (the PBS sponsored timeline went to 2013). Even after the NFL, agreed to pay the settlement retired players are still not satisfied. The article discusses this, as well as this new lawsuit.
